So you’ve got a set of MAXTRAX recovery boards (or maybe even a couple of sets), you’ve got a CROC HINGE 4×4 mounting bracket sitting in the Checkout basket, what else do you need?
These quick-release mounting pins are black nylon and stainless steel, and allow you to securely mount your MAXTRAX. Now the reason these are sold separately and not with the CROC HINGE 4×4 mount, is firstly not everyone runs MAXTRAX but even those that do they may already have the mounting pins. Don’t fear though, if you don’t have a set of mounting pins we can hook you up. After all, everyone loves combined postage right!?
This set will allow you to securely hold either two (2) or four (4) MAXTRAX MKII 4WD recovery tracks (i.e. 1 or 2 pairs) and ’cause you don’t want anyone to steal your gear, each mounting pin has a hole in the top for a padlock if you wish to use it.

*** This set of mounting pins is specifically designed for MAXTRAX MKII only. The newly released Xtreme recovery boards require different mounting pins which we also stock here.
This set of mounting pins has 17mm thread however you can also choose 40mm thread here if your set up requires.
Weight: Each individual pin weighs 100 grams. Size: 117mm long including 17mm of 10mm diameter thread. Also includes stainless steel Nylock nuts and flat washers.

CROC HINGE® foldable brackets are designed to suit most popular flat roof racks:
RHINO RACK FLAT STYLES (PIONEER SERIES)
ARB BASE RACK – requires t-slot adaptors which can be purchased directly from ARB
ROLA TITAN – requires own hardware i.e. channels nuts given our products come standard with M8 channel nuts.
YAKIMA FLAT ROOF RACKS – due to the side-to-side cross members on this style of roof rack the spacing permits the mounting of MaxTrax however TREDS requires a Bridge Plate (sold separately).
FRONT RUNNER ROOF RACKS – due to the raised outer lip that’s characteristic of this style of roof rack CROC HINGE® mounting brackets are only suitable in combination with spacers (sold separately).
DIRECT TO A CANOPY
MESH STYLE ROOF RACKS – the CROC HINGE® Bracket will fit a flat roof rack with ‘mesh’ style flooring however you will require a bridging plate.
